Funny how life gets away from you sometimes - the everyday business of living and loving and organising all gets jumbled and before you know it the year is almost at an end and new chapters of your life are just around the corner ready to begin.
So much has happened this past year and there are times when I feel totally and utterly normal - but it is always there and I will remember what I endured, the strength I pulled out from myself and the courage of my tiny little boy.
I know it is with me - everytime I see another person with cancer, or hear of another person's loss of a loved one to cancer - it will be with me always.
Sharry, Uncle Fatty, Anne and Kym - You will always be in my heart - thanks for the memories.

Simple pleasures
Back from the holidays refreshed but slightly exhausted.
I love time back in Ceduna spent with family and friends.
Long lunches, morning teas and days camping at the beach.
Brown kids with freckled noses, sun kissed cheeks and sand covered toes.
Cold beers, freshly caught fish and evenings around a camp fire.
Simple pleasures for an everyday life – one in which I love, am loved, am alive and grateful for every day I have been given.
